Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
The Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Nurse provides specialized care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases. They work within a family-centered environment, ensuring safe and compassionate patient care through a highly trained team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Possess an unencumbered Oregon RN license at the time of submission.
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• Hold AHA ACLS and NRP certifications.
• Prefer candidates with STABLE certification or equivalent.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in labor and delivery nursing.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient education skills.
