Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery RN supports patient care across multiple facilities in a dynamic traveler role. The position requires flexibility to float between hospitals, providing expert labor and postpartum care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring safe and timely patient care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding promptly to any abnormalities.
• Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns, assisting with recovery and education.
• Document patient information accurately using Epic electronic medical records.
• Adapt to various facility protocols while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
• Travel between care points as needed, maintaining compliance with all safety and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Maintain Healthcare Provider BLS certification; AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS required.
• Possess at least 2 years of labor, delivery, and postpartum experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and labor management.
• Be capable of traveling with personal transportation to multiple care locations.
• Exhibit effective communication, adaptability, and clinical judgment skills.
