As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Asset Protection Patrol in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. Provide welcoming customer service and clear communication to guests, visitors, and team members while responding professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel guest areas, public spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry and support a welcoming guest experience.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
