About the Role

The Operations Manager helps lead the day spa experience at Mandara Spa – Mohegan Sun. Working closely with the Spa Director, this role drives top-line revenue, manages and coaches spa talent, builds client relationships, and supports membership retention.

What You'll Do

• Lead the spa concierge and attendant teams to deliver premier service to every OneSpaWorld guest, generating revenue and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
• Communicate monthly, weekly, and daily promotions to the concierge and technical teams so goals stay top of mind.
• Coach and motivate the team to increase sales and improve efficiency.
• Schedule and manage appointments using the spa's operating and POS system (e.g., Book4Time).
• Conduct retail and professional supply inventory per corporate standards.
• Handle payroll accurately and on schedule, per corporate timelines.
• Build concierge and spa attendant schedules.
• Uphold spa standards — phone etiquette, service excellence, and cleanliness front and back of house.
• Respond daily to guest satisfaction survey feedback and resolve service issues on-site.
• Enforce quality control and resolve guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Resolve staff issues as they arise.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) daily, responding to facility needs to keep the guest experience seamless.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years working with a POS system (Book4Time or similar spa software) in a hospitality or retail operations role.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, customer-service-focused spa environment.
• Eligible to work in the US.
• Availability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, given the cyclical nature of hospitality.

Technical Skills

• Computer literate, comfortable managing Outlook email and basic office equipment (calculator, fax, printer, copier).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
