An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make an impact for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will be located in a beautiful area near Lake Placid, Florida, and offers the chance to work onsite with a dynamic K-12 student population. You’ll play a vital role in supporting students' communication needs and partnering with educational teams to foster academic and social success throughout the academic year.

Key Requirements:

• Current SLP license and Florida eligibility required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) necessary
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student populations
• Commitment to collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists

Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans focused on student growth
• Monitor, document, and report progress according to school and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational team strategies
• Provide consultative services and support to teachers and staff regarding student needs
• Maintain thorough and accurate records compliant with school policies
