Pressure Washing TechnicianResponsible for safely performing duties related to identifying and cleaning outdoor areas on all campuses using hydraulic pressure washing equipment. Areas to be cleaned include sidewalks, benches, brick and concrete structures, and other surfaces below 10 feet in height as assigned. Candidate will assist the campus Grounds Team with miscellaneous minor tasks as needed if inclement weather or other needs arise.The job duties include, but are not limited to:Pressure Washing OperationsSafetyCommunicationAdditional Grounds and Landscaping SupportRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED from a recognized state or federal accredited organization. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with pressure washing equipment, exterior cleaning, grounds maintenance, or related facilities work. Current drivers license to operate vehicles. Must meet USG requirements and AU policy to operate vehicles.Preferred QualificationsExperience with commercial grade pressure washing equipment preferred, knowledge of operating machinery and safety aspects related to machinery.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesABILITIES Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality cleaning results. Must be able to work independently and also as a team member. Must be able to work well and communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and faculty. KNOWLEDGE Working knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment of the pressure washing trade. Working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of pressure washing trade. Knowledge of safe chemical handling and dilution practices.
