About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: NIH and Swallow Screen preferred Must-Have: - Competent in dysrhythmia - Available for holidays Description: Rapid response required. Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days. Travelers must have no restrictions on time off. Travelers must be willing to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids. This facility is a tertiary care regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. The facility is technologically advanced and offers specialized services, including trauma care, intensive care, and high-risk obstetrical care. A wide range of specialties is available, including cardiology, critical care, general surgery, and rehabilitation services. Candidates must have a complete and clear background screening prior to starting. Unit profile includes a 22-bed setup with patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1. Candidates should be prepared to take a dysrhythmia and math dosage test during orientation. Study materials will be provided along with the welcome packet. Patient population includes adults with common diagnoses such as strokes and seizures. A flexible approach to weekend shifts is available, including options for straight weekends. Dress code includes scrubs with no unacceptable attire permitted.
