About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: NIH and Swallow Screen preferred Must-Have: Candidates must be competent in dysrhythmia. Candidates must be willing to work all shift times; Days, Nights, and Mids. Candidates must be available for holidays as decided during the screening process. Description: This position involves responding to rapid response calls and providing critical care to patients. Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days to receive the rapid response rate. Candidates must have complete and clear screenings before starting. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. Patient population includes adults with conditions such as CVA, TIA, and seizure. Equipment includes vital sign machines, EKG, and cardiac monitors. Candidates will take a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on the first day. A study guide will be provided along with necessary facility education. The nurse-patient ratio is typically 5:1 to 6:1. The facility has a total of 22 beds. Candidates are required to maintain professional attire; unacceptable attire includes hoodies and shirts with wording or pictures.
