Apply accounting knowledge, professional judgement, and analytical expertise to support the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of consolidated financial reporting while contributing to process improvements and reporting initiatives.**Job Description****Responsibilities*** Prepare and review consolidation activities, financial reporting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation in accordance with established reporting requirements.* Coordinate with domestic and international finance teams to support timely, accurate, and complete reporting of financial information.* Support accounting and reporting activities related to investments in subsidiaries and other legal entities through the preparation of analyses, reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and elimination entries.* Perform analyses of consolidated financial results and communicate key observations, trends, risks, and issues to management.* Maintain reporting instructions, reporting documentation, and supporting process materials.* Execute control activities supporting the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.* Support internal and external audit activities through preparation of documentation, analyses, and responses to inquiries.* Support internal and external audit activities through preparation of documentation, analyses, and responses to inquiries.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience* Eight years of experience, with degree* In-depth knowledge of accounting/finance* Analytical and problem-solving skills* Written/verbal communication skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment* Advanced computer skills**Preferred Qualifications*** CPA and/or progress toward professional certification.* Experience within the insurance or financial services industry.* Experience supporting financial reporting, consolidation, or accounting close processes.* Experience working with large financial reporting systems and data sets.**Working Conditions*** Hybrid (In Office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays)* Occasional Travel <10%The Salary for this position generally ranges between $108,000 - $135,000 annually. ***Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including***qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs.
