Patient Accounts Representative

University of Miami - - Responsibilities: Respond to patient or guarantor inquiries on account status and collect payments in accordance with policies.; Process payments over the phone and follow up on accounts until payment is received.; Set up budget plans on outstanding accounts and monitor for compliance.; Follow up on defaulted payment plans with calls or letters and track until resolved.; Assist in balancing monthly cash clearing account and update patient/insurance/attorney correspondence.
