Data Center Technician

Red Oak, TX

⏳ 3-4 Month Expected Contract

About the Job

This is a large-scale data center construction project. Technicians will help build out the network infrastructure by installing fiber optic and copper cabling throughout the facility.

You'll be working inside a brand-new data center environment performing hands-on infrastructure work such as:

✅ Pulling and installing fiber and copper cable

✅ Rack and stack of equipment

✅ Cable dressing and labeling

✅ Fiber and copper terminations

✅ Installing pre-terminated fiber connections

✅ Supporting testing and troubleshooting activities

What They're Looking For

Candidates should have experience with:

• Data center environments
• Fiber optic installation
• Copper cabling
• Rack and stack work
• Cable management and terminations

Bonus Skills:

• OTDR testing
• Fluke testing
• Fiber troubleshooting

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 6-7 days per week
• Night shift to start (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Possible day and night shifts later in the project

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Red Oak, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
