Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Surgical TechnologistThis position involves working in an operating room environment. The facility has 19 OR suites with an average of 50 cases performed daily. Surgical specialties include trauma, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, gynecological, gynecological oncology, robotics, general surgery, hepatobiliary, bariatric, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, and plastics. Candidates must have experience scrubbing in diverse cases, especially trauma, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, gynecological, robotic, general, hepatobiliary, bariatric, urology, ENT, and plastics. Candidates must have recent and comprehensive experience with robotic navigation, including ALIFs, TLIFs, ACDFs, and both anterior and posterior cases. Experience in neuro cases is not acceptable. The department includes service line clinical supervisors, charge nurses, educators, OR aides, unit secretaries, and tech engineers for support. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Demand for weekend rotation is every fourth weekend, which might involve call shifts. Travelers will be expected to cover 75% of holidays. Weekend shifts may vary in schedule and time. Overall, candidates should have a robust knowledge of sterile technique and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
