Civil Defense Associate Attorney

Experience: Mid Level Salary: $150,000 - $215,000 per year We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Civil Defense Associate Attorney to join our dynamic and fast‑paced legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil defense matters, providing legal counsel and representation to our clients. The successful candidate will manage a robust caseload, conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and represent clients in court. The position requires a thorough understanding of civil defense law, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of civil defense matters, including conducting research, preparing legal documents, and providing legal advice to clients. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments in a clear and persuasive manner. Collaborate with other attorneys to develop strategies and tactics for successful defense in civil cases. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of laws, regulations, and legal practices related to civil defense. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that best serves their interests. Provide exceptional client service, maintaining regular communication and providing updates on case progress. Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client meetings. Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management and document handling. Comply with all legal standards and regulations, maintaining the highest level of professional ethics. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a civil defense attorney. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in civil defense cases. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and formulate effective legal strategies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service. Ability to manage a large caseload, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
