Pharmacy Technician in Dallas, TX

An urgent opening is available for a Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door pharmacy embedded within a behavioral health hospital setting in the Dallas area. This full-time, contract-to-hire role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a fast-paced, high-volume environment dispensing behavioral health medications. The pharmacy handles approximately 350-400 prescriptions daily and operates similarly to a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy, supporting both walk-in clinic needs and outpatient prescription fulfillment.


Key responsibilities include accurately preparing and dispensing medications, utilizing the Enterprise RX software (training provided), and maintaining reliability in a critical support role. The pharmacy does not administer vaccines and emphasizes automated and streamlined workflow efficiency.

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Minimum 1-2 years recent pharmacy technician experience, preferably in retail or similarly fast-paced settings
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
• Strong reliability and professional conduct, given previous staffing challenges
