Shift Lead

Shift Lead Position Profile The Shift Lead works with the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff to guide the team, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability, and quality care for patients and clients. Responsibilities Assist and support hospital leadership in developing an efficient, productive team that provides the highest quality care and service to pets and clients. Follow Banfield protocols and practices, focusing the team to achieve practice priorities while building our culture and brand. Supervise the team day‑to‑day when called upon and ensure quality medical care, exceptional client service, associate engagement, and maximum productivity. Create an environment where the team can deliver efficient, effective veterinary care and foster associate engagement. Provide exemplary client service, ensuring all associates do the same, including client education about optimum wellness plans, preventive care, pet health needs, hospital services, and marketing campaigns; resolve client issues effectively. Assist in scheduling associates to meet client needs, proactively plan time off and continuing education scheduling. Ensure compliance with all practice policies and procedures and Banfield dress and grooming guidelines. Qualifications Belief that preventive care is essential for a long, healthy life for each pet. Passion for providing exceptional client and pet experiences. Availability to work weekend and evening shifts. Comfortable working in an environment with loud noise and strong smells. Minimum 18 years of age. At least two years of veterinary hospital experience. Drug‑free, smoke‑free, equal‑opportunity environment. Pay Range $17.57 - $22.45 Hourly (rate determined by experience, skill level, and location).
