We are actively looking for a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team at the Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center. This full-time position is predominantly remote, allowing flexibility while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families in our community based in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. The LPC will engage in telehealth sessions, providing essential mental health services to clients who may be experiencing trauma and seeking pathways to recovery.

Work Environment\n

This role allows you to practice remotely via telehealth, providing you with the freedom to manage your schedule while staying connected with clients. Our practice operates seven days a week, from 7 AM to 10 PM, ensuring that our clients have access to care that fits their lifestyles. You won't be required to take on after-hours calls or manage an overwhelming caseload, and we ensure that support staff are available to assist with scheduling and client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully reviewing patient histories to assess trauma and determine individualized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, employing evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for all clients.

• Respond to crisis situations and provide support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients navigate these challenging experiences.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and healing.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical documentation standards within electronic health record systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations, attend team meetings, and participate in professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continually enhance your therapeutic skill set.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and creating treatment plans tailored to individual clients.

• Experience working effectively in high-pressure situations while remaining calm and composed.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 per year, including annual increases and bonus opportunities.
