Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to develop personalized treatment plans, tailoring therapeutic strategies to suit each individual’s unique needs.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing peer support and community building, especially for clients dealing with similar issues.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and the highest ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide integrated care approaches for clients.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training, ensuring that therapeutic practices remain current and relevant.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health needs, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship challenges. LPCs at Ser Mejor Counseling Services will employ a trauma-informed approach, understanding the unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds of each client to foster a supportive and effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.

• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating competency in delivering various therapeutic modalities.

• A solid understanding of ethical and legal standards applicable to mental health practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with a broad spectrum of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
