Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy plans that cater to each client’s unique needs.

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to a variety of clients, including individuals, groups, families, and couples.

  • Utilize diverse therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client's health and well-being.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and supervision to stay current with advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving individuals and families with limited access to mental health services, addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. You will play a vital role in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals, ensuring they receive the support necessary to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey with no restrictions.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is essential.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and workload.
