Electrician - Level 3

Our client is seeking an Electrician to join their team in Chester, VA . As an Electrician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting facility electrical systems through inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, and safe, reliable service. Job Title:  Electrician - Level 3
Location:  Chester, VA
Pay Range: $43-$45/hr.

What's the Job?

• Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new equipment installations.
• Inspect, check, repair, and replace electrical and lighting components such as wiring, controls, switches, motors, gauges, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, and related systems.
• Maintain equipment in a safe operating condition and support safe work practices on an active construction site.
• Review historical maintenance records to help create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Use standard procedures and technical judgment to solve routine problems and deliver efficient, reliable service to customers.

What's Needed?

• Journeyman’s license required (and Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes).
• 5–7 years of experience in electrical work, with a strong foundation in electrical principles and maintenance practices.
• High school diploma or GED (trade school diploma preferred in alignment with experience).
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more .
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational skills.
