Our Government Investigations and White-Collar Defense Practice Group is a nationally recognized team offering extensive experience in counseling, investigating, defending, and litigating all forms of government inquiry. We represent individuals and organizations facing civil investigative demands, subpoenas, and other requests for information from federal prosecutors, state prosecutors, and investigative agencies. Responsibilities Counsel clients on compliance and legal strategy related to government investigations. Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support defense in government inquiry and enforcement proceedings. Represent clients in discovery, trial, appellate and collateral proceedings from investigation to resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, and written submissions in complex civil fraud and regulation-based disputes. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on case strategy and client communication. Qualifications Two to four years of relevant legal experience in government investigations and white-collar defense, with a focus on life sciences matters such as the False Claims Act, Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and Anti‑Kickback Statute. Strong writing and analytical skills; demonstrated written advocacy experience in defending government investigations, enforcement litigation, and civil fraud cases. Bar admission in Massachusetts or Washington, DC (required). Strong academic credentials, superb judgment, communication skills and commitment to providing excellent client service. Ability to work effectively in either the Boston, MA or Washington, DC office. Benefits Salary range: Boston, MA : $225,000 to $275,000; Washington, DC : $225,000 to $275,000. In addition to a standard benefits package this role may be eligible for contingent compensation based on performance, location, experience, education, and qualifications.
