Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Emeryville, CA

This part-time contract role (0.5 FTE) focuses on providing comprehensive assessment and therapy services in a school-based environment. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY)
• Experience or strong interest in working with preschool students
• Familiarity with school-based SLP practices and assessment protocols
• Ability to conduct and interpret a variety of speech/language evaluations
• Competence in serving diverse student populations, including private and nonpublic school settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative attitude suited to working alongside educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough speech/language assessments for preschool, private, and nonpublic school students
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions in accordance with evaluation results and IEPs
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of services, progress, and communications
• Consult and collaborate with educational teams, providing recommendations and supporting strategies
• Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to IEP development and parent conferences as needed
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech/language therapy
