Elderwood at Waverly is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) to help lead clinical operations and support our nursing teams within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. More Than Traditional Long-Term Care Elderwood offers nurses the clinical variety of a post-acute environment combined with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people in their care. Our subacute rehabilitation unit serves patients transitioning from hospital to home, including individuals recovering from illness, injury, surgery, orthopedic procedures, and cardiac conditions. The nursing team supports complex clinical needs that may include IV therapy, PICC-line management, wound vacs, complex wound care, ostomy care, enteral feeding, and dialysis coordination. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing and ADON, with additional clinical resources available through Elderwood Administrative Services. Facility clinical leadership receives organization-wide direction from the Chief Nursing Officer and support from an assigned Regional Nurse Consultant. Job Details Company: Elderwood Location: Elderwood at Waverly Position Type: Regular Full-Time Shift: 10pm - 6am Reporting Category: RN Responsibilities What You will Do As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor: Supervise nursing care services and nursing personnel across assigned units Conduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance to staff Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely communication of changes Assist with admissions, evaluations, care planning, and resident oversight Support safe medication administration and treatment delivery Assist with staffing coordination and assignment adjustments Provide coaching, feedback, and support to nursing staff Ensure documentation, workflows, and assignments are completed appropriately Participate in shift-to-shift communication and operational updates Promote a collaborative, respectful, team-focused environment Help maintain compliance with facility policies, CMS standards, and nursing regulations Support infection prevention and facility safety initiatives Assist with incident response, emergency procedures, and survey readiness Participate in QAPI and performance improvement efforts Qualifications What you Will Need as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor: Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role Interest or experience in geriatrics Current BLS/CPR Experience with dementia population desirable This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
