You build the bridge between our company's and our clients' interests. The trust that you develop with our clients keeps them coming back to us for all of their plumbing and HVAC needs. With diplomacy, you resolve any customer issues that may arise. You also research, compile, and share quarterly customer ratings from internal and external sources.Riding along on service calls to maintain quality standards, you lead by example and inspire all field personnel to take pride in their work. Always approachable, you lead and coach your team, providing knowledge, skills, training, and information to achieve peak performance and a productive work environment. You also schedule training and education for your department. Communicating regularly with dispatch, you ensure that your department is being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency, and training. You also report to dispatch project information, estimated time to complete jobs, labor hours, and parts used/needed.Within company policies, you establish departmental objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards. As a goal-oriented problem-solver, you are always looking for ways to proactively improve customer satisfaction. You also find ways to improve efficiency and make pricing adjustments as determined by profitability and cost analysis. To help ensure departmental profitability, you develop and monitor the budget, goals, and KPOs. You help develop a marketing strategy to promote the growth of the service department. While you do spend a lot of time out in the field, you are also organized and keep on top of all your administrative duties such as reviewing warranty invoices, work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy. You get great satisfaction out of ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction!QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of progressive responsibility in a Service Department in a related industrySome post-high school education from a college or technical education OR comparable experienceGood computer skills including Microsoft OfficeExperience with at least one dispatch systemDo you have outstanding written and verbal communication skills?
