Construction Project Manager – Lead Construction and Disaster Restoration Excellence Job Overview

• Company: Rocky Top Restoration & RTR Construction.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $50,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience) plus commissions.
• Location: Knoxville, TN.
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a versatile leader managing both high-stakes restoration projects and new construction builds from the ground up. This role empowers you to restore peace of mind for clients in crisis while driving the profitability and quality of diverse residential and commercial projects.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Orchestrate all pre-construction activities and manage in-house crews to ensure a seamless project launch.
• Direct subcontractors and vendors in strict accordance with the master project schedule to maintain momentum.
• Coordinate daily team schedules and define clear performance objectives to maximize site productivity.
• Manage project logistics by ensuring all necessary supplies and materials are ordered and present on-site.
• Execute primary oversight of project finances, including estimate approvals and total profit/loss responsibility.
• Resolve complex on-site obstacles by applying "outside the box" thinking to keep projects on track.
• Communicate technical restoration details to customers with empathy to provide reassurance during the recovery process.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of five years of professional construction experience.
• Strong background in remodeling, new construction, and general construction practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams with a "hands-on" leadership style and high integrity.
• Demonstrated multi-tasking skills and a work ethic suited for a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Proficiency with JobTread or similar construction management software.
• Professional background or certification in water mitigation.
• Experience managing both restoration-specific "pre-loss" projects and custom home upgrades.
