What You’ll Do As an AM Line Cook, you will help prepare fresh, high-quality food while maintaining Hilton and hotel standards for quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items, including appetizers, salads, sauces, side dishes, and garnishes. Wash, peel, chop, dice, slice, portion, and prepare vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, seafood, pastas, and other ingredients. Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and established portion standards. Taste and inspect prepared foods to ensure proper flavor, texture, consistency, presentation, and quality. Assist with daily prep to ensure the kitchen is ready for current and upcoming shifts. Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens, steamers, mixers, slicers, grills, and food processors. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Follow all food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and uniform standards. Properly care for knives, utensils, tools, and kitchen equipment and report damaged equipment to management. Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and other Food & Beverage team members. Assist with additional culinary duties as needed to support hotel operations. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. At leastone year of culinary or related food preparation experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
