Advance Services, Inc. is now hiring a Press Brake Operator in Galesburg, IL! We are looking for dependable candidates with manufacturing experience who are ready to join a growing team in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties
- Set up and operate computer programmable/controlled brake press machines
- Plan and layout bending sequences by referring to drawings and blueprints
- Bend products and assemblies ranging from small/lightweight to large/heavyweight materials
- Set up metal dies in preforming and forming operations
- Align, fit, and adjust parts to meet operating requirements
- Assist Engineering personnel with modifications, parts substitutions, and revisions
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure product accuracy and consistency
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
