Base pay range $45,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr What You'll Do Work as part of a service delivery team to provide routine accounting services to our clients. Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash disbursements, and cash receipts using QuickBooks or other accounting software packages. Monthly: Reconcile bank items, job cost, department, and general ledger accounts; prepare and enter journal entries; maintain electronic/paper files; and prepare draft financial and management reports. Annually: Assist with gathering data for budget processes, audit preparation, preparing 1099s and other tax filings, as well as other client-specific regulatory filings. Ongoing: Work with client and Insource staff to regularly upgrade and improve operating procedures and regularly document the changes. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and also track the status of tasks using project management software. What We're Looking For Proven adeptness at detail work and experience managing multiple priorities. High level of self-motivation with an ability to work independently. Diplomatic, patient, curious, with a great sense of humor. Enthusiastic about accounting and finance in nonprofits and/or small to mid-sized firms. Ability to enter data into existing Excel spreadsheets and create new spreadsheets. Experience: Seeking candidates anywhere from Entry Level to 5+ years of relevant experience. Undergraduate degree preferred and/or relevant experience.
