Staff Accountant

To Apply for this Job Click Here Staff Accountant - Boston, MA Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end activities. This role will work closely with the finance team to help maintain accurate financial records and support ongoing accounting processes.

- Support daily accounting and financial operations.
- Process transactions and maintain financial records.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Generate financial reports and maintain supporting schedules.
- Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation.
- Provide support for budgeting, reporting, and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications- 2+ years of accounting, general ledger, or reconciliation experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Nonprofit experience preferred.
