Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant - Boston, MA Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end activities. Responsibilities Support daily accounting and financial operations. Process transactions and maintain financial records. Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities. Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances. Generate financial reports and maintain supporting schedules. Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation. Provide support for budgeting, reporting, and special projects. Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures. Qualifications 2+ years of accounting, general ledger, or reconciliation experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Nonprofit experience preferred.
