Job Summary and Qualifications Position Details: Self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for predictability. Culture of mutual respect and collaboration among all surgical staff. Continuous investment in equipment including surgical instruments, devices and patient positioning for safety and workflow efficiency in the Operating Room. Rounding with unit leaders, including charge nurses, to ensure your voice is heard on suggestions for patient care and surgical workflow improvement. On‑call required during select non‑business hours. Qualifications: Registered Nurse license (RN). Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. Thorough knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative associations, along with management and supervisory skills. Ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in written, auditory, or visual formats. Written, telephone, computer, and manual dexterity skills required. No Travel Required. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients. Patient direction and flow through diagnostic areas. Educate patients and families/caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment and follow‑up measures.
