Registered Nurse Pre Testing

Overview As a Registered Nurse Pre Testing, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn. Job title: Pre Admit Testing RN. You will work with the dynamic team in surgical services, prescribe, delegate and coordinate all nursing care for assigned patients, and ensure standards of performance, nursing practice and care are met. You will assess, evaluate, plan, implement and coordinate a treatment plan to achieve the goals of the Pre Admit Testing department. Responsibilities Provide safe nursing care and a safe environment for patients and families. Transcribe and implement physician orders and document all patient information. Administer medication and IV fluids accurately and safely within nursing guidelines. Update or revise the plan of care as needed based on continuous assessment, including care for discharge and transport to the nursing unit. Respond effectively in emergencies and use critical thinking to identify potential problems and intervene to offset adverse effects. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. (RN) Registered Nurse. Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
