We're seeking a Senior Automation Account Manager in Sacramento, CA to support and grow commercial mechanical operations across the region.

Impact

Grow building automation service and project sales in the region.

Build long-term partnerships with owners, GCs, and consulting engineers.

Translate technical solutions into clear business value.

Hit revenue and margin targets through disciplined pipeline management.

Responsibilities

Develop and close new BAS service and project opportunities.

Build estimates with application engineers and operations.

Manage a pipeline in CRM with accurate forecasts.

Present solutions to facility managers, owners, and executives.

Attend industry events and grow a referral network.

Negotiate contracts and protect margin.

Coordinate handoff to operations for clean execution.

Track customer satisfaction and renewals.

Requirements

Must-Haves

3+ years of B2B sales, ideally in BAS, HVAC, or mechanical services.

Strong technical aptitude for controls and HVAC systems.

Disciplined CRM and pipeline habits.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice-to-Haves

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related.

Existing relationships in the regional commercial market.

Experience with Niagara, Distech, or Siemens platforms.
