Phlebotomist Float
$21 - $33 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float for its Tustin, California location to perform blood collections and specimen handling across multiple patient service centers. The role involves flexible scheduling across Orange and South LA County areas with opportunities for professional development in a high-volume laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Travel to multiple patient service center locations as needed
Requirements
- California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year or more phlebotomist experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation for float assignments
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years of age
Compensation: $21.00-$33.00 base; additional $1.50/hr float incentive plus mileage reimbursement
