Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Location: Stafford, VA 22554 Schedule: Full-time, school-based opportunity Employment Type: Contract Position Overview Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school-based setting in Stafford, Virginia. This opportunity is ideal for an SLPA who enjoys working with students and supporting communication development through individualized therapy activities and collaboration with supervising Speech‑Language Pathologists and school teams. Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP. Assist with implementation of individualized therapy plans and student communication goals. Support students with articulation, language, social communication, and other speech-related needs. Monitor student progress and assist with documentation.) Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff. Provide engaging therapy activities that support student communication development. Maintain accurate service records and follow established therapy procedures. Qualifications Valid SLPA credential/license required according to Virginia requirements. Completion of an approved SLPA program preferred. Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively under SLP supervision.
