Clinical Laboratory Technologist - STAT

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for its STAT team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, quality control, and ensuring specimen acceptability. Monday–Friday schedule with rotating 10am–7pm shifts every other week.

Responsibilities

• Assess specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures per SOPs
• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents; document preventative maintenance and QC
• Report accurate test results timely and make technical decisions for problem-solving
• Maintain safe work environment, manage bench supplies, assist with specimen processing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• 1+ years clinical laboratory testing experience OR MLT degree
• 6+ months experience with Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Chemistry
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Ability to pass color blindness test and handle physical demands
• Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts
