Certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS Certification, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)


Must-Have:
Experience in scrubbing routine catheterization procedures, including peripheral and stroke cases.
Experience in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO).
Pre or post-operative experience is preferred.


Description:
Candidates may not have been directly employed by any affiliated facility within the past year.
Candidates employed through outside firms will be considered.
The Cath Lab has three catheterization labs and performs a range of procedures.
Typically, two rooms operate simultaneously during the day.
The volume of cases varies, with a minimum of four to six cases usually per day.
Electrophysiology cases include ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations, performed primarily on specific days.
The lab does not handle interventional radiology procedures.
A separate area manages those procedures.
Peripheral and neuro cases are performed, with specific arrangements for different locations.
Registered nurses circulate and monitor cases, supported by a dedicated team for each case.
On-call staffing includes a four-man team comprising various roles.
Staff are cross-trained in monitoring procedures.
Documentation involves a hemodynamics and charting system.
Emerging technology will transition to a new documentation system in the future.
Common cases include a variety of cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization procedures.
Staff are expected to have experience in the required certifications and procedures.
Cancellation policy allows for a limited number of shift cancellations during the assignment.
The work setting is acute care, and the division is allied health.
