Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect Location: Harrisburg, PA 17120 Duration: 4+ Months Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1 day/week onsite Interview: Webcam & In-Person Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to define and evolve enterprise information architecture and reusable data products supporting modernization, analytics, and AI initiatives. The role will develop data models, establish data standards, improve data quality, and work closely with business, engineering, cloud, integration, and data teams to build scalable and governed enterprise data solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Define conceptual and logical data models, canonical models, and enterprise data standards.
• Design enterprise information architecture across shared and domain-specific data assets.
• Support modernization, legacy system analysis, data migration, and target-state architecture.
• Design reusable data products, including schemas, interfaces, metadata, ownership, and quality requirements.
• Establish data governance, cataloging, lineage, observability, security, privacy, and interoperability standards.
• Collaborate with cloud, engineering, integration, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Promote API-first and reusable data architecture approaches.
• Prepare enterprise data products for future AI, semantic-layer, knowledge-graph, and natural-language use cases.
• Work across multiple business domains and stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct authority.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Information Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, advanced database design, data modeling, data warehouses/data marts, and MDM concepts.
• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, and cloud-based data ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data security, privacy, regulatory requirements, and sensitive data.
• Experience designing and implementing data quality initiatives and tooling.
• Experience supporting large-scale modernization or digital transformation across multiple domains and stakeholders.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Experience in Public Sector, Healthcare, or Financial Services.
• Background as a Principal Architect, Enterprise Information Architect, Data Architect, or Solution Architect.
• Experience with data catalog, data lineage, semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and AI-ready data architecture.
