About This Job Registered Nurse Supervisor-B oversees four wings, supervising LPN, CNA, and RN staff. Minimum Qualifications Current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or authorized temporary permit or multi‑state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse. One of the following: Four years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; Bachelor’s degree in nursing plus three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; Master’s degree in nursing or public health plus three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; Doctorate in nursing or public health plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse. Job Duties Plan, direct, and deliver resident care on assigned units, including shift coordination, staff reassignment, and direct patient care as needed. Supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff, conduct performance evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and support professional development through in‑service training. Collaborate with nursing leadership and other departments to ensure 24‑hour continuity of care and maintain a safe, effective environment for residents. Complete clinical documentation such as the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), Minimum Data Set (MDS), and update care plans based on residents' evolving needs. Investigate and report complaints and unusual occurrences, document findings, and propose action plans to Nursing Administration. Position‑Specific Details Appointment Type: Probationary Career Progression: N/A Work Schedule: Hours 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. with a rotating schedule that includes working every other weekend. Compensation: Special Entrance Rate: $2919.20 bi‑weekly / $36.49 per hour Premium Pay: $7.00 per hour for worked hours only Shift Differential: Rates vary based on shift time, day of the week, and holidays.
