Company DescriptionMid-Size CPA firm is experiencing growth and looking to hire a Senior Tax AccountantJob DescriptionJob description Prepares federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate and exempt organizations, including the more complex tax returns.Performs complex tax researchPrepares research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authoritiesParticipates in tax planning and estimates for clientsAssists accounting and consulting staff members in client meetingsReviews tax accruals and associated working papersAssists in analyzing and responding to IRS noticesAssumes the responsibility for their assigned clients smooth flow of tax returns and continuous improvement effortsContributes to the client service team by producing quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service. Establishes good working relationships with all partners and staff membersQualificationsExperience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.CPA Certification.3+ year’s prior experience in public accounting tax experience.Skill in parathion of individual, business, benefit fund, real estate and exempt organization tax returns.Strong accounting and analytical skills.Advanced computer skills: proficiency in Tax software, Excel, Word.Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.Detail oriented & ability to multi-task.Additional Information60K-75K Range + Disc.
