Associate I - Commercial Real Estate

CRE Sales Associate 1 The CRE Sales Associate 1 has a strong understanding of the Commercial Real Estate market, credit and products and facilitates proactive identification and analysis of opportunities exhibiting creativity around idea generation. Takes ownership of projects in coordination with assigned Relationship Managers and mentors the CRE Analyst 1 and 2's in the CRE Emerging Talent program. The Associate collaborates with Relationship Managers to identify credit worthy projects within targeted markets and assists with the prioritization of relationship calling strategies. Supplements analysis with research and evaluations from a wide variety of sources to develop an assessment of client, competitor, property segment, market and industry risks and trends. The Sales Associate 1 may be assigned to a selected Relationship Manager(s) and may also partner closely with a Portfolio Management team to provide assistance with the ongoing portfolio maintenance activities and client relationship support of certain relationships or portfolios. Specific activities may change from time to time. Analysis: Deal review, information summaries and overall relationship analysis. Business Development: Prospecting and market research, building and maintaining a prospecting database. Sales Disciplines: Ownership of pre-call planning strategies for selected clients and/or RMs, sales tools management Client Support: Attends client calls and meetings with assigned Relationship Manager(s), supports and participates in client planning end-to-end process Support and mentorship of CRE Analysts. Qualifications Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 2-3 years' combined Commercial Real Estate experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of credit principles. Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints. Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Masters in Real Estate or combined Commercial Real Estate experience through internships or other experiences; or an equivalent combination of educational and experience or other related advanced degree. 2. 2 years' experience in a Commercial Real Estate Associate Development Program and/or equivalent experience in a CRE Credit Delivery role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
