Qualifications for Our CNA Training Program High-school diploma or equivalent Compassion for the elderly Must be willing to stay on as a part of your team Must pass a criminal background check Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) Help residents with day-to-day activities such as bathing, grooming, meals, dressing, etc. under the direction of a nurse Maintain patient comfort and safety Document vital signs, weight, meal intake, bowel and bladder, etc. Assist with Restorative Nursing duties Answer call lights promptly Performs CNA skills Observe and adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures Identify safety hazards and emergencies and help initiate corrective action Identify special resident problems, report them immediately to the nurse, and take an active role in helping problem solve to resolve the issues Review resident profiles and perform nursing care as outlined Observe infection control procedures Ambulates and transfers resident per their transfer policy Restock supplies for the next shift Why work for Golden Sonora at the end of the program?
