Principal Scientist, AI-Native Discovery (Large Molecules)

Principal Scientist role in AI-native biologics discovery within Johnson & Johnson's In Silico Drug Discovery team. The position integrates artificial intelligence, computational design, and predictive modeling into therapeutic discovery programs across three U.S. locations.
Responsibilities
- Connect biologics discovery programs with computational capabilities and AI-enabled approaches
- Apply computational design and AI-enabled analysis to support therapeutic discovery programs
- Represent In Silico Discovery on cross-functional project teams and inform program strategy
- Develop and advance AI-native workflows integrating hypothesis generation, design, and experimental testing
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to internal development and partnership opportunities
Requirements
- PhD in relevant scientific or technical discipline
- Minimum 4 years drug discovery experience with cross-functional team contributions
- Knowledge of biologics discovery, candidate optimization, and therapeutic development
- Strong scientific leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in AI and machine learning applications
- Experience with computational design, structural modeling, and predictive modeling
