Gorilla Property Services is expanding across 12 zip codes throughout North Charlotte and Huntersville. We do not run a “truck and a trailer” operation — we operate a premium, standardized fleet serving residential properties and high-density commercial accounts across the territory.

We are seeking an energetic local  Field Operations Lead / Lead Field Technician to own execution, command job-site safety, use our proprietary digital routing tech stack, and act as our primary technical trainer as we rapidly scale to a multi-truck operation in the North Charlotte and Huntersville market. This is not a “show up and spray water” position — we're building a professional, service-driven operation focused on premium exterior property care.

You'll be responsible for job-site execution, crew leadership, equipment management, safety compliance, and delivering a five-star customer experience on every project, while helping train and mentor future technicians as the team grows.

Position Summary

The Lead Field Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing exterior property services including:

• House washing and soft washing

• Pressure washing and surface cleaning

• Gutter cleaning

• Window washing

• Dryer vent cleaning

• Commercial exterior cleaning projects

• Holiday lighting installation, maintenance, and removal during the winter season

• Graffiti Removals

General Accountabilities

Truck & Route Ownership

• Manage daily routing logistics across the North Charlotte and Huntersville footprint, ensuring optimal drive-time efficiency and resource utilization using our mobile CRM platform.

• Maintain accurate job documentation using company software.

Technical Execution

• Perform and supervise high-volume commercial and residential property transformations: high-angle pressure washing, chemical soft-washing structural treatments, technical gutter clearing, and specialized dryer vent cleaning.

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and remove holiday lighting displays during the holiday season.

• Safely operate pressure washing equipment, pumps, hoses, ladders, and related tools.

Safety Command

• Enforce 100% compliance with OSHA standards, proper harness rigging on high-pitch roofing systems, chemical mixing/handling safety, and proper ladder protocols.

• Conduct equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.

Crew Leadership & Onboarding

• Act as the direct trainer for incoming Junior Technicians — run local field tests, audit asset handling, and build a high-performance culture based on speed, safety, and pristine property care.

• Assist ownership with hiring, onboarding, and developing future crew members.

Customer Service Excellence

• Serve as the on-site face of the company, communicating professionally with homeowners and property managers.

• Ensure every property is left clean, protected, and exceeding customer expectations.

We are actively seeking individuals looking to step out of grueling construction, commercial roofing, automotive detailing, landscaping, or specialized HVAC fields into a structured, growing operational track. This role will eventually turn into a team lead and general manager as the team scales. 

Experience

• 2–3 years of verifiable field service experience leading mobile crews, navigating complex customer service scenarios, or handling commercial building maintenance.

• Previous crew lead or supervisory experience is highly desirable.

License & Records

• Valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record (no DUIs, major moving violations, or reckless driving incidents within the past 5 years).

• Comfortable driving company vehicles and trailers.

Physical Capability

• Absolute comfort operating at heights (ladders, roof lines, commercial lift systems) and working outdoor shifts in variable Piedmont weather conditions. Training and certification will be provided.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.

Asset Familiarity

• Basic mechanical aptitude (understanding small engine maintenance, pump operations, high-pressure fittings, or electrical/pneumatic systems) is highly preferred.
