Job Overview:
We are seeking a temporary Appliance Maintenance Technician to assist with residential dryer exhaust cleaning services from September 11 through September 21. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience servicing appliances, is comfortable disassembling and reassembling dryers for exhaust cleaning maintenance, and can handle the physical demands of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble and reassemble residential dryers to access interior components and vent connections
Clean lint and debris from inside dryer units and exhaust systems
Move dryer units in and out of position safely
Inspect appliances and vents for blockages, wear, or damage
Work safely and professionally in customer homes
Maintain a clean work area and properly handle tools and equipment
Follow all company and safety procedures
Qualifications:
Experience with appliance maintenance, repair, or service
Ability to disassemble and reassemble dryers
Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds repeatedly
Comfortable working in tight spaces behind and around appliances
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Must have reliable transportation to Claremont base.
Must be 18 or older
Preferred:
Experience with dryer ducting
Familiarity with common dryer brands and models
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and carrying of equipment
