Senior Accounting Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst in Saint Louis, MO. Duties:
- Senior Accounting Analyst will own and support month-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Calculate and reconcile revenue transactions
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances
- Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting
- As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will partner with business stakeholders to explain financial results
- Assist with inventory and cost accounting activities as needed
- Support audit requests and special projects
- Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with revenue accounting and account reconciliations
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills
- Experience with large ERP systems preferred
