An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinarian to become Medical Director of a brand-new urgent care hospital in Sparks, NV, taking a leading role in building the clinical team, culture and standards from the ground up. With compensation up to $180,000, performance-based bonuses and an immediate pathway to equity without an upfront financial investment, this is a particularly exciting opportunity for a veterinarian looking to combine hands-on medicine with leadership and the potential for long-term practice ownership. The Hospital This new veterinary urgent care hospital is being developed to provide high-quality, accessible care for pets requiring prompt medical attention outside the scope of routine general practice. As a new facility, the hospital will feature modern clinical spaces and advanced veterinary equipment, supported by experienced operational and leadership teams. This provides the Medical Director with the opportunity to influence how the hospital functions from the beginning while still having the infrastructure and resources needed to focus on medicine, people and patient care. The urgent care model will provide exposure to a varied caseload while avoiding the overnight schedule commonly associated with traditional emergency medicine. The environment will be built around:
