About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to providing effective direct care and coordinating patient care within an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: North Bergen, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience: Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. Licenses & Certifications: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
