Highlights Location: North Bergen, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Initiate interventions related to patient's change in condition. Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
