Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Santa Rosa, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/02/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Postpartum Nurse, L&D PP, available in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to postpartum and labor and delivery patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and education throughout the maternal and neonatal care process. Job Details Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support; Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program; demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring; demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws; demonstrated knowledge of high risk medication administration (Magnesium/Oxytocin/Insulin); demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing; demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing; demonstrated knowledge of IStat; demonstrated ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring; demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring; demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborn; demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance; demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights; demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers; demonstrated knowledge to support gynecological teaching & post-operative bladder training; demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; Minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience; Minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience; Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience. Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
