Heavy Equipment Operator

Shah Development has immediate openings for full time Heavy Equipment Operators.Job Duties:Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant policies and procedures to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.Perform daily safety and maintenance checksClean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or requiredEnsure heavy equipment is safely and securely storedPractice workplace safetyMaintain inventoryUse equipment for snow removalUse equipment to level roads and ensure proper drainageManual Labor- Dig ditches, work/service equipment, lifting in gross of 100 lbs. and any other manual labor as directed by supervisorEducation and Experience Requirements:Valid driver’s license, unrestrictedKnowledge of truck and equipment safetyKnowledge of operation of front end loaders, dozers, graders, skid steers and other pieces of heavy equipmentKnowledge of equipment maintenance and storageKnowledge of road construction and maintenance techniquesKnowledge of workplace safety requirements and proceduresKnowledge of record keeping systemKnowledge of equipment cleaning standards and proceduresRequired Skills:Ability to operate single and double axle trucks in a safe and responsible mannerAbility to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible mannerAnalytical and problem solvingDecision makingEffective verbal and listening communicationsAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to read and write to record pickups and maintain daily recordsStress managementTime managementPay Range: $28 - $38 / hr.EEO #J-18808-Ljbffr
